Kintsugi
A bonsai forces its way out of cracked stone and flowers at first light - the break becomes the most beautiful part.
Overview
This project called for a stronger visual language that could carry a clear point of view without falling into noise. The goal was a direction that feels bold and immediate, while still leaving room for different formats and supporting content.
Challenge
The foundation was there, but the execution lacked consistency and a clear sense of hierarchy. Some assets felt too loud, others too quiet, and together they did not form a unified impression.
Our approach
The system was built around contrast, pacing and repetition. Stronger typographic moments, tighter composition rules, and a more deliberate use of scale. Instead of adding more, the focus was on making fewer decisions feel sharper.
Outcome
The final direction created a more recognisable and cohesive presence. The result feels more controlled and much easier to carry across different touchpoints, while leaving enough flexibility for future work.

“The whole thing reads better now. It feels more structured, more intentional, and a lot more confident from start to finish.”
